Backgrounds and other designs - OWN FORUM SECTION - Is it a good idea?

I've seen a thread about backgrounds at the Miss Bimbo Game forum.

Here it is

- Some users think that it would be better if background designer users would get an own forum to show their design.
- Anyway some think it would be great if the 'designers' wouldn't spam the Miss Bimbo Game forum with their tpoics.

I wondered if it is possible to create a Design forum section just for Design forum threads eg. Backgrund designers, Avatar and Banner requests etc.

Btw those who are interested in Bg and other designs may find the artists or designs wated much more easily. content3

WHAT'S YOUR OPINION ?

One more thing added:

In your comment, write a name, how you would call the separate section for the arts and crafts stuff!
We should make a poll than about the name of it...

Names eg.:

"Creative Corner" (Miarain's idea - I love ot so much)
"Arts and crafts"
"Designer's deal"
"Arts and graphics" (KaiRuh's idea)
"Dedicated to Arts"

Yes.! Cause when I try to find a topics with bgs I must look at all forum.. old topics and etc. It is not apart. And it should be. wink

I would love this. No offence to people, they have great talent, but i go to the forum and have to sift through so many "profile backgrounds" and "avatars" and "banners" threads just to find what im looking for and its kinda annoying.
Put them in a forum of their own then if people want a banner/background/avatar etc they know exactly where to look!

i think it is good idea. Because we have not only BG designers. There a lot of avatar and banners designers too.

I think it's OK, btw when I started to create BGs I've done it only for myself and friend. Who knows what will you do in 3 months. Maybe you'll like to share yours with the others!

Yep, I wrote I think it would be great to get the whole design stuff to a forum covers BGs, avatars, banners, requests...etc.

I think it's a great idea.

I just find it funny that when background designers post it's considered spam to some people, when the forums are spammed with a lot of nonsense that doesn't help people at all fou rire

I would LOVE to see a separate section in the for backgrounds, etc. I don't think it is "spamming" when people post their artwork. There are so many people offering their talent, it deserves a special place. I know I won't have to search and search the forms just to choose a new background. I support it sourire

Don't you think your exaggerating a bit? There's only one thread for avatars and banners-together, in one section of the forum roll

yes a separate section would be nice, as bg designs became quite popular, and it kind of sucks that people consider it as littering and spam.

Or there could be just one thread where people will post their work (with no chatting rule) and bimbos can just scroll through to pick what they like

I think this is a great idea for people who do make bgs so that when people like me who cant make bgs and want to use the ones other people have made can easily find them here. I myself would love to make bgs but i just dont know how ): SO this would be a great idea, all the people who make bgs could show their bgs here big_smile

I think there should be an "Arts and Graphics" forum in general - magazines, banners, avatars,designs, and backgrounds could all go there, plus any other art or graphic people have made that they wish to share.

Like I said in the other thread, I agree they should have a section dedicated to Art - Banners, Av's, BG's Own Artwork etc. If there weren't so many designers they could stay in the Miss Bimbo Game section but everyone is giving it a go and doing a great job, so I think they derserve a separate section so their work can be found quicker and easier instead of having to go through pages of other threads to find a bg/designer you like.

As I said before, it would be great that they put them all together - They would be easier to find and they wouldn't annoy people who aren't interested in them. So no-one loses.

That if you take the magazines, the banner makers, the background designers, the avatar designers into one section its awesome. Right now its very spread around, the entertainment section has lost its purpose, the girls section allready had one cleanup.

No you can't do anymore than this, as far as i know its the developers who need to create a new forum, and they have a long list of things to do, so it might be a while before this idea gets looked on - last time ive seen a section idea become true it took around 6 months from the first basic idea to the completion. Maybe when you have heard some more reactions here, lets say give it a month or two, you can make a poll to get some hard cold numbers on who would like to see the idea come true. Then after maybe you can write a nudge to the lead admin or so, but not before that. Nothing is speedy around here, and i like to see the slower developement of things so no speedy-half-hearted decicions are made smile
